April is an exciting month for us, as we celebrate 10 years of the opening of our first Butterfly Home in ChangSha! The challenges that COVID-19 are presenting globally mean that we have to postpone all of our ‘in person’ celebrations and events. However, we are determined to celebrate from a distance and acknowledge this special occasion.
Throughout this month we will be sharing some of our achievements and hearing from some of the amazing people who have played a part in our story over the last ten years. The family stories are without a doubt, some of BCH’s greatest successes. One such story is Caleb’s.
Caleb brought joy to every day in the Butterfly Home. Now he is spreading that joy with everyone who meets him: “Our family is so blessed to have Caleb Joseph; he brings so much joy to our lives!”
We love to see the children thrive with their forever families. We hope these next ten years bring many more families for some of our other Butterflies. If you would like to send a message to our staff in celebration of ’10 years’ please email them to katie@butterflyhospice.org.
