Elora is a ray of sunshine in the home. She radiates joy and happiness. From the first thing in the morning to the last thing at night, the home is filled with her chatter and giggles. She loves to help the ayis with her ‘babies’ and follows the nurses around doing her ‘daily jobs’.
Elora will turn two in just a few weeks, and has spent most of her life under the care of Butterfly. From those very early days in hospital recovering from surgery to seeing her first smile and then cheering her on as she took her first steps. You can read more about her early days here.
We have loved to watch Elora grow. Elora’s family will be travelling very soon and she will celebrate her second birthday in their arms. We will post about her amazing forever family as soon as she is united with them.
We know she will have a bright future and cannot wait to watch her story unfold. She will be missed around the home, but it is with happy hearts that we will say goodbye to her.
This is the essence of what we do; pour loving care into these children’s early years, giving them every chance of a brighter future and waving them off as they graduate from our care. Not all of our children will have this chance, so for those that do we celebrate and rejoice with them and their families.
